Can I get the fingerprint scanner on a Dell 1330 working if I’m running Ubuntu?
I’m searching but if I see “This has already been answered” and some code that doesn’t work one more time I may lose it!

Not a Laguna! That’s a 1 of 1 Baldwin Motion 1973 Chevelle SS.
Sadly, it’s not mine. Yet.
(That thing was $13,000 in 1973 and I stalk it, I will own it.)

Your only hope is that someone with the knowledge to write drivers has made it work on the same model of computer, and has made their custom drivers available to the public.

I think I found a solution. But.. I’m using the machine in question so the “fix” is going to have to wait until I have some free time. Like at work, tomorrow.
Full of the sound of the Gran Fury, signifying nothing.

Now I grew up in a city called Laguna so I know what it means, but maybe it was trying to read without my glasses or a craving for Italian food, but I read Laguna as lasagne...
